UAE – Mubasher: The main index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) closed Wednesday up by 1.10% or 47.81 points at 4,376.42 points, maintain its positive performance on Tuesday.
The market cap gained AED 1.9 billion to settle at AED 494.34 billion, compared with AED 492.44 billion yesterday.
A total of 56.70 million shares were traded through 2,084 transactions at a turnover of AED 204.82 million.
The real estate, banks, and telecom sectors added 2.42%, 1.51%, and 1.45%, respectively, while the energy sector index closed down by 1.47%.
Gulf Pharmaceutical Industries topped the rising stocks, surging by 9.24%, while International Holdings led the declining stocks and lost 4.42%.
FAB recorded the highest trading value with AED 66.42 million, while Aldar was the most actively traded stock with 19.36 million shares and settled higher by 2.31%.
ADCB closed up by 2.95%, while Etisalat and ADIB increased by 1.45% and 0.54%, respectively.
On the other hand, ADNOC Distribution and DANA Gas lost 2.68% and 0.77%, respectively.
