Abu Dhabi - Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) ended Monday’s trading session in green on the back of gains by banks and real estate sectors.
The Abu Dhabi General Index (ADI) went up by 1.23% or 55.37 points, and closed at the level of 4,544.57 points.
The banks sector added 1.71%, as the National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD), and Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) gained 2.8% and 0.3% respectively.
Similarly, the real estate sector index rose 0.66%, as Eshraq increased by 1.8% after the announcement of plans to establish a new company, while Aldar grew 0.46%.
Traded volumes totalled 47.66 million shares compared to 67.44 million shares on Sunday, with turnovers reaching AED 97.82 million down from AED 125.15 million on yesterday’s session.
