Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) witnessed gains in Thursday’s mid-trade, spurred by the rise of real estate and energy stocks.
The general index added 0.31% or 13.58 points to reach 4,388.93 points by 11:30am UAE time.
The real estate sector rose 2.7% as Aldar Properties increased 3.5%. The energy sector levelled up 2.3% due to an increase in Dana Gas and TAQA by 2.33% and 2.22%, respectively.
The telecom sector grew 0.57% after Etisalat added 0.57%.
The market saw trading of 26.06 million shares through 482 transactions, with a turnover of AED 61.56 million.
Dana was the most active stock with a trading volume of 3.65 million shares, while Union National Bank (UNB) was the value leader with a turnover of AED 9.7 million.
