Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) saw a negative performance in Wednesday’s early trades, weighed down by the fall of energy and banks sectors.
The general index declined 0.06% or 2.63 points to reach 4,258.60 points by 10:30am UAE time.
The energy sector led losers with a 1.46% decline, weighed down by Dana Gas which retreated 1.8%. The banks sector sank 0.64% after First Gulf Bank (FGB) which tumbled 0.8%.
On the flipside, the telecom sector rose 0.6% as Etisalat gained 0.6%.
The market saw trading of 9.7 million shares through 149 transactions, with a turnover of AED 11.05 million.
