Abu Dhabi-Mubasher: Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) saw a bullish performance on Wednesday, amid liquidity inflows.
The general index added 0.07% or 3.4 points to 4,588.20 points.
The market resumed its uptrend as speculators increased their positions in some stocks, according to capital market analyst Mohammed Al Kaabi.
Trading volume reached 81.67 million shares on Wednesday, compared to 81.87 million shares.
Turnover stood at AED 164.47 million, compared to AED 146.33 million.
The energy sector gained 1% as Dana Gas advanced 1.8%.
The investment sector increased 0.9% due to a rise in Waha Capital by 0.9%.
The telecom sector levelled up 0.8% after Etisalat recovered 3%.
The general index tends to maintain its positive performance and near 4,600 points, amid investors’ desire to make use of attractive stocks, Al Kaabi noted.
