ADX up on Sunday; market cap reaches AED 455.8bn

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) closed Sunday's trading session on a green note after the main index rose by 1.41% or 57.12 points to 4,118.74 points, maintaining its positive performance on 7 May.

The market cap value recorded AED 455.81 billion, up AED 4.61 billion from AED 451.20 billion during the previous session.

Turnover amounted to AED 73.83 million after around 22.05 million shares had been exchanged through 1,174 transactions.

The real estate sector led the risers with 2.41%, while the energy segment topped the decliners with 0.22%.

RAK Properties came on top of the green zone with 2.92%, while Abu Dhabi Ship Building (ADSB) headed the red zone with 4.87%.

Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) recorded the highest turnover of AED 24.49 million, while Aldar Properties, up 2.38%, was the most active stock with 7.46 million traded shares.
