Cairo – Mubasher: The French Development Agency (AFD) is willing to allocate EUR 100 million to finance the upgrade of Alexandria's tram network, French ambassador to Cairo Stéphane Romatet said in a statement released by Egypt’s Ministry of Transportation.
The CEO of Vinci SA is expected to visit Egypt in the upcoming period to cooperate with the country’s transport ministry, Romatet added.
In addition, contracting procedures are being finalised with a French consulting firm regarding the development of Abu Qir railway line in Alexandria, he revealed.
