UAE - Mubasher: Ajman Free Zone (AFZ) has inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with noon.com, a leading digital marketplace in the region, to enhance the performance of the local e-commerce sector and attract new investors to Ajman.
Under the agreement, the AFZ investors holding e-commerce licenses will be allowed to join the noon online shopping supplier list and benefit from the platform's tools, including a secure payment method and an established logistics network, according to a press release on Monday.
The AFZ will also allow the non-registered companies to obtain an e-commerce license and use Noon as their digital selling platform.
The Director General of the AFZ, Ali Abdulla Bin Towaih Al Suwaidi, commented: "Our strategic partnership with Noon, one of the country’s leading e-commerce platforms, will benefit both our investors and customers by opening up new opportunities for business expansion and development."
Meanwhile, the Government Partnerships at Noon, Yousef Almehrzi, said: "As the region’s leading homegrown digital marketplace, noon is proud to support businesses, offering them immediate access to our huge and highly engaged customer database along with our trusted services."
