Cairo – Mubasher: AL Ezz Dekhela Steel – Alexandria announced deeper losses during the second quarter and the first half of 2016, according to the unaudited standalone financial results.
Q2 losses widened 345% year-over-year to EGP 187 million from EGP 42 million.
H1 losses soared 205% year-on-year to EGP 484 million from EGP 158.3 million.
During the first half as well, sales fell to EGP 5.1 billion from EGP 6.2 billion registered the prior-year period.
On Monday, the stock quote closed 0.26 higher at EGP 220 a share.
