Kuwait – Mubasher: Aviation Lease and Finance Co. (ALAFCO) on Tuesday reported a profit of KWD 3.1 million for the second quarter ended 31 March 2016.
The firm also posted a net profit of KWD 6.1 million ($20.2 million) for H1-16, registering a drop of 25.5% from KWD 8.19 million ($27.14 million) in the same period the year before.
Earnings per share (EPS) reached 6.9 fils, the company added in a statement.
Commenting on the period, deputy chairman Ahmed Al Zebin noted that ALAFCO currently has 49 airplanes leased to 14 companies.
