Mubasher: US crude oil inventories declined by 7.5 million barrels last week, according to the data of The American Petroleum Institute (API).
Contrary to expectations of an increase by 3.4 million barrels, crude inventories decreased to 507.2 million barrels.
Gasoline inventories also shrunk by 2.5 million barrels, while distillate stockpiles, which include diesel and heating oil grew by 1.4 million barrels.
