Mubasher: US crude oil inventories declined by 7.6 million barrels last week, according to the data of The American Petroleum Institute (API).
This comes contrary to an expected increase by around 2 million barrels.
Meanwhile, gasoline inventories grew by 2.9 million barrels, while distillate stockpiles, which include diesel and heating oil decreased by 1.3 million barrels.
