Cairo – Mubasher: Asek Company for Mining (ASCOM) posted on Monday a net profit of EGP 232.4 million for the first quarter of fiscal year 2017, against a net loss of EGP 8.9 million for Q1-16.
Revenues for the first three months of FY17 increased to EGP 268.7 million from EGP 178.22 million for the same period of FY16, according to a bourse filing.
Financial income amounted to EGP 254.18 million in Q1-17, versus EGP 14.7 million for Q1-16.
The company closed Sunday’s trading at EGP 7.79, rising 2.77%.
