Mubasher: The Amman Stock Exchange’s (ASE) main index closed Thursday at the level of 2,121.67 points after rising 0.2% or 4.09 points.
Turnover rose to JOD 10.3 million from JOD 9.3 million yesterday, trading volume reached 11.8 million shares exchanged through 4,400 trades.
Financial and industrial sectors moved uo by 0.36% and 0.22%, while the services declined 0.18%.
The index was supported by the rising of 52 shares, out of 133, 40 others closed down.
Amad Investment and Real Estate Development was the top gainer by 7.14%, while Al-Manara Insurance was the lowest with a fall of 5%.
The benchmark index slipped yesterday 0.01% or 0.11 point to the level of 2,117.58 points.
