Mubasher: The Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) ended Monday’s trading session losing 0.53% or 11.12 points, closing at the level of 2086.2 points.
The main index was pushed down by blue chips, as Arab Bank declined 0.32% and registered the highest turnover with JOD 345,860. Jopetrol also lost 0.84%, while Al Eqbaal led the session’s losers and dropped 4.65%.
The industrial sector decreased 1.41% on the back of Al Eqbaal, the services sector was dragged down by Jopetrol and also lost 0.56%.
Total traded volume decreased today to 4.63 million shares compared to 5.8 million shares on Sunday.
Total turnover also shrunk to JOD 5.4 million from JOD 6.2 million on yesterday’s session.
