Mubasher: The Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) ended Sunday’s trading session losing 0.38% or 8 points, closing at the level of 2097.34 points.
The main index was dragged down by the industrial and banking sectors blue chips, as Arab Bank and Bank of Jordan lost 0.16% and 0.83% respectively, while Eqbaal led the session’s losers and dropped 4.44%.
The industrial sector declined 2.17%, dragged down by Eqbaal, as well as Arab Potash and union tobacco falling by 3.78% and 6.41% respectively.
Likewise, the financial sector went down 0.05%, while the services sector was the only gainer and added 0.23%, as Jopetrol and Jordan Press Foundation Alrai increased 0.85% and 2.56% respectively.
Total traded volume decreased today to 5.8 million shares compared to 6.4 million shares on Thursday.
Total turnover also shrunk to JOD 6.2 million from JOD 6.5 million on Thursday’s session.
