Mubasher: The main index of the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) ended Wednesday’s trading session in the green zone, adding 0.2% or 4.21 points, closing at the level of 2,107.87 points.
The industrial sector gained 0.35%, as Phosphate Mines led today’s gainers and surged 5.5%.
The services sector grew 0.28%, as Jordan National Shipping Lines added 1.31%, despite Jordan Press Foundation leading the session decliners and dropping 4.76%.
Similarly, the financial sector levelled up 0.08%, as Contempro Housing and Islamic Bank of Jordan went up 1.02% and 0.27% respectively.
Total traded volume declined to 5.2 million shares from 7 million in the last session.
Turnover also decreased to JOD 5.2 million compared to JOD 7.1 million on Tuesday.
