Mubasher: The Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) ended Wednesday’s trading session in the green zone, as the main index added 0.8% or 16.93 points and closed at the level of 2,132.94 points.
The industrial sector gained 1.26% on the back of 7 stocks as Lafarge grew 2.81%.
Similarly, the financial sector levelled up 0.74% as Bank of Jordan rose 4.46%, despite Al Amal leading the decliners and losing 1.51%.
The services sector added 0.33%, on the back of 4 stocks, as Jordan National Shipping Lines surged 4.6% and led the session’s gainers.
Total traded volumes increased today to 5.3 million shares from 4.4 million shares on Tuesday.
Turnover also went up to JOD 10.4 million compared to JOD 6.2 million on last session.
