Mubasher: The Amman Stock Exchange’s (ASE) main index closed Sunday with a rise of 0.45% or 9.05 points to 2,009.79 points.
Trading value increased to JOD 3.7 million by the end of the session. Trading volume also surged to 3.9 million shares exchanged in 2,310 trades.
The industrial sector came alone in the green list with a rise of 2.83%, while the services and financial sectors slipped by 0.07% and 0.01%, respectively.
The benchmark index was positively affected by a rise in the prices of 39 stocks. against 32 that moved down out of a total of 107.
Al-eqbal Investment Company led the risers with a 7.33% increase to JOD 16.1%, followed by Masafat for Specialised Transport which surged by 7.27 to JOD 0.59.
Meanwhile, Universal Chemical Industries became the lowest stock with a fall of 5.00%, followed by Comprehensive Land Development and Investment with a 4.88% decrease.
ASE main index closed Thursday with a 0.31% increase or 6.15 points, reaching the level of 2,000.71 points.
