Mubasher: The Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) ended Monday’s trading session in the red zone, losing 0.19% or 4.01 points closing at the level of 2,104.99 points.
The main index was dragged down by blue chips as Jopetrol, Bank of Jordan, and Housing Bank declined 0.29%, 0.77%, 1.49% respectively.
The services sector went down by 0.3% on the back of 9 stocks, led by Orange which decreased 1.36%.
Similarly, the financial sector slipped 0.2% as Housing Bank and Al Amal lost 1.49% and 1.47% respectively.
On the other hand, the industrial sector levelled up 0.06% as Arab Potash was today’s top gainers as it grew 2.2%.
Total traded volume increased to 6.9 million shares from 5.5 million shares on the last session.
Likewise, total turnover also grew to JOD 6.1 million compared to JOD 5.8 million on Sunday.
