Mubasher: The Amman Stock Exchange’s (ASE) main index closed Tuesday with a rise of 0.43%% or 9.2 points to the level of 2,145.74 points.
Turnover increased to JOD 9.2 million from JOD 7.4 million yesterday. Trading volume reached 10.3 million shares exchanged through 4,330 trades.
The financial and services sectors moved up 0.65% and 0.02% respectively, while the industrial sector fell alone by 0.06%.
Out of 124 companies, 52 closed on a positive note and 34 others closed in red.
Middle East Specialized Cables Company headed gainers by adding 6.67%, whereas Resources Company for Development and Investment topped decliners with a loss of 6.25%.
The main index dipped yesterday 0.49% or 10.46 points to the level of 2,136.54 points.
