Mubasher: The Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) ended Sunday’s trading session in the green zone, as the main index gained 0.43% or 9.1 points, closing at the level of 2,124.35 points.
The main index rose on the back of blue chip stocks as Arab Bank, Jopetrol, and Bank of Jordan added 0.32%, 0.85%, and 0.38% respectively.
All sectors went up today, led by the services sector which grew 1.07% as Jordan Telecom led the session’s gainers and surged by 6.41%, despite Jordan National Shipping Lines leading the decliners and losing 3.22%.
The industrial sector also went up by 0.37% as Lafarage and Phosphate Mines gained 2.64% and 2.28% respectively.
Similarly, the financial sector increased by 0.13% as International Cards added 5%, while Jordan Ahli Bank levlled down by 0.83% and was the most active in trading volumes with 123,810 shares.
Total traded volume declined to 4.24 million shares from 6.6 million shares in the last session.
Total turnover also decreased to JOD 4.54 million compared to JOD 7.8 million on Thursday.
