Mubasher: The Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) ended Sunday’s trading session in the green zone, gaining 0.02% or 0.42 points, and closing at the level of 2,083.54 points.
The services sector rose 0.23% on the back of Jopetrol which added 0.58%, while Orange gained 0.96%.
On the other hand, the industrial sector declined 0.19%, as Arab Potash and Worsted Mills lost 1.87% and 0.25% respectively, while Universal Modern Industries increased 2.1% and led today’s gainers.
The financial sector slipped 0.01%, as International Cards was the session’s biggest loser and dropped 4.54%, while Arab Bank lost 0.16% and registered the highest traded value with JOD 187,130, and Ahli Bank was the most active in traded volume with 46,600 shares.
Total traded volume decreased to 4.1 million shares compared to 4.6 million on Thursday.
Similarly, total turnover declined to JOD 3.6 million from JOD 6.2 million in last session.
