Mubasher: The Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) ended Thursday’s trading session in the green zone after falling for eight consecutive sessions.
The main index added 0.22% or 4.59 points, and closed at the level of 2,104.88 points.
The industrial sector gained 0.45%, as National Chlorine Industries surged 4.41% and Al Eqbal grew 1.94%.
The financial sector went up by 0.17% as Bank al Etihad and Contempro for Housing Projects added 1.01% and 1% respectively.
Meanwhile, the services sector rose by 0.13% as Jordan Nation Shipping Lines and JETT levelled up by 1.35% and 0.66% respectively.
Total traded volume increased to 5.7 million shares from 4.3 million shares on Wednesday.
Similarly, total turnover also grew to JOD 6.5 million from JOD 4.9 million in last session.
