Mubasher: The main index of the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) ended Thursday’s trading session in the green zone, as it gained 0.13% or 2.78 points and closed at the level of 2,144.64 points.
The main index margin rise was on the back of the sectors positive performances, led by the services sector which added 0.33%, as JTEL grew 3.64%.
Similarly, the industrial sector levelled up 0.12% as Union Tobacco led the gainers and surged 7.21%, while the finical sector gained 0.03% as Bank of Jordan rose 1.07%, while Jordan Commercial Bank led the session’s decliners and dropped 4.44%.
Traded volumes declined to 5.2 million shares from 9.2 million in last session, while turnover decreased to JOD 6.1 million compared to JOD 110.5 million on Wednesday.
