Mubasher: The Amman Stock Exchange’s (ASE) main index closed Monday at 2,100.13 points after shrinking 0.82% or 17.37 points.
Trading value reached JOD 10.7 million through 5,270 trades on 13.4 million shares.
The bourse’s sectors plummeted collectively, as financial, industrial and services fell by 0.75%, 0.72% and 0.66% respectively.
The index was affected by the falling prices of 48 shares, out of 127 companies, while 47 others moved up.
Arab Company for Investment Projects and Comprehensive Multiple Project topped the losers with a fall of 6.67% and 4.68% respectively.
Meanwhile, Amad Investment and Real Estate Development was the best performer with a growth of 6.90%, followed by Al-tajamouat for Catering and Housing with 4.76%.
The benchmark index declined yesterday by 0.88% or 18.82 points to the level of 2,117.5 points.
