Mubasher: The Amman Stock Exchange’s (ASE) main index plummeted in mid trading on Thursday by 0.1% or 1.84 points to 2,045.15 points, after recording a seven-day rise.
Trading value came to JOD 4.83 million through 2,450 trades on 4.45 million shares.
The index was negatively affected by the falling prices of 32 shares, despite a rise in 37 other shares.
International Cards was the weakest share in mid trading after decreasing 3.84%, followed by Al Eqbal Investment with a 2.71% drop.
On the other hand, Jordan Insurance was the strongest share after gaining 3.58%, followed by Dar Al Dawa Development and Investment with a rise of 1.61%.
The ASE’s main index closed Wednesday surging 0.53% or 10.88 points to 2,047.02 points.
