Mubasher: Ahli United Bank – Kuwait (AUB Kuwait) achieved an increase of 3.8% in profits during the third quarter of 2018 compared to the same period in the prior year.
Earnings rose to KWD 14.07 million ($46.5 million) in Q3-18 from KWD 13.55 million ($44.8 million) in Q3-17, according to a bourse statement on Sunday.
During the first nine months of 2018, AUB Kuwait recorded a rise of 7.5% in profits to KWD 43.03 million from KWD 40.04 million in the corresponding period a year ago.
AUB Kuwait noted that the increase in 9M profits is attributed to higher operating income.
At the stock level, AUB Kuwait closed Sunday’s session 1.03% lower at 289 fils.
