Mubasher: Ahli United Bank – Kuwait (AUB Kuwait) registered an increase of 15.7% in profits during the second quarter of 2018 compared to the same quarter last year.
Earnings enlarged to KWD 12.14 million ($40.16 million) in Q2-18 from KWD 10.49 million ($34.7 million) in Q2-17, according to a bourse statement on Tuesday.
During the first half of 2018, AUB Kuwait recorded a growth of 9.3% in profits to KWD 28.96 million compared to KWD 26.49 million in H1-17.
AUB Kuwait clarified that the incline in H1 profits is attributed to higher operating profits.
