Mubasher: The main index of Bahrain Bourse (BHB) retreated 1.9% or 22.2 points to close at 1,139.95 points on Wednesday.
Bahrain Islamic index fell by 0.9% or 3.8 points to reach 763.44 points.
Today’s trading value fell to about BHD 317,790 as trading volume decreased to 1.3 million shares.
The banks sector lost 3.2%, dragged down by AUB and Al Salam which dropped 6.7% and 1.06% respectively.
BHB’s industrial sector fell by 3%, as Alba stock retreated 3.15%.
