Mubasher: U.S.-based equity provider MSCI said that Bahrain's largest lender Ahli United Bank (AUB) formed a part of the MSCI Frontier Markets Index (FMI) from 30 November 2015, according to a bourse statement.
“AUB’s inclusion in the index was a result of MSCI’s semi-annual index review process,” noted the bank.
The statement added that this will reflect positively on the liquidity and trading volume of the stock.
AUB settled at 206 fils after nearly BHD 5,800 turnover was generated from 28,100 shares traded through five transactions.
