Mubasher: Ahli United Bank (AUB) achieved an increase of 20.3% in profits during the second quarter of 2018 compared to the same period in the prior year.
Earnings enlarged to $182.71 million in Q2-18 from $151.88 million in Q2-17, according to a bourse statement on Sunday.
During the first half of 2018, profits grew by 14.8% to $357.42 million compared to $311.31 million in H1-17.
Earnings per share (EPS) increased to 3.4 cents in H1-18 from 7.3 cents in H1-17.
AUB registered interest income of $467.2 million in the first half of 2018, the statement added.
