Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Abu Dhabi Aviation’s shareholders on Tuesday approved a cash dividend of 17 fils per share, representing 17% of capital for the fiscal year which ended on 31 December 2016.
This was announced at the company’s ordinary general meeting (OGM), which also approved the general budget and the profit/loss account for 2016.
Statistics by Mubasher show that total dividends for 2016 amount to AED 75.61 million ($20.6 million) and are the same as the company’s dividends for 2015, but higher than those given out in 2014, which stood at AED 53.4 million ($14.5 million).
Abu Dhabi Aviation recently reported its full-year profit for 2016, and said it achieved AED 280.39 million ($76.3 million), up 1.1% from AED 277.35 million ($75.5 million) in 2015.
The Abu Dhabi-based company is the largest commercial helicopter operator in the Middle East.
