Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Fund for Development (ADFD) has completed two projects at a combined value of AED 240 million ($65.3 million) in Albania’s capital Tirana.
An ADFD delegation, headed by director of the operations department Adel Al Hosani, participated in the opening of both projects, according to an official statement.
“Since 2013, ADFD’s strategic relations with the Albanian government have gone from strength to strength, with the fund financing three strategic projects in Albania valued at AED 424 million,” ADFD’s director general Mohammed Saif Al Suwaidi commented.
Large segments of the population have directed from these projects in view of creating job opportunities and spurring various economic sectors, he added.
In 2013, ADFD injected AED 103 million ($28 million) concessionary loan for Tirana River Rehabilitation project aimed at the revitalisation of Tirana River’s bed, shores, and surrounding areas.
