Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Passenger traffic at Abu Dhabi International Airport rose 5.6% year-on-year in 2016, according to a report.
Passengers reached 24.5 million in 2016, compared to 23.2 million in 2015.
India continued to be the leading origin and destination market with around four million passengers, representing 18.1% of the total passengers.
The airport welcomed 2,189,633 passengers in December 2016, a 3.7% increase when compared to figure recorded during the prior-year period.
