Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Abu Dhabi City Municipality (ADM) has signed two agreements with real estate developers to promote the development of the UAE’s capital.

The first contract was awarded to Tristar Engineering and Construction Company for the construction of a community market in Mohammed bin Zayed City, according to Emirates News Agency (WAM). The market is set to comprise retail outlets, community facilities, and government service counters for residential districts.

Situated on 23,316 square metres with an estimated cost of AED 36 million, the unnamed market will commence operations in the fourth quarter of 2020.

Florida Property Development Company was awarded the second contract to build a service station for residential districts at Al Shawamekh, the news agency added.

The service station will offer many maintenance services covering carpentry, repair services for household appliances, plumbing, electricity and air conditioning services, tire and auto parts trading, and car repair and washing services.

"These projects are part of a full package of integrated projects and service facilities the municipality is intending to undertake in the implementation of the vision of Abu Dhabi government for bolstering the cooperation with the private sector,” ADM’s general manager Saif Badr Al Qubaisi commented.

Scheduled to open in the third quarter of 2021, the service station will be built on 5,585 square metres at a cost of AED 15.3 million.
