Abu Dhabi Municipality executes AED 676bn projects

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Abu Dhabi’s Department of Urban Planning and Municipalities has implemented around AED 676 billion ($184.07 billion) of infrastructure projects, Al Khaleej newspaper reported.

The projects, which included building internal roads, upgrading infrastructure, lighting, paving sidewalks, and an integrated wastewater plant, were executed in Khalifa City, Mohamed bin Zayed City, among others, according to the newspaper.

The Municipality also carried out works on the electricity network, communications towers, and in the field of wastewater treatment.

In July, the Abu Dhabi Department of Urban Planning and Municipalities said it executed a number of projects in infrastructure worth AED 1.1 billion.
