Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Abu Dhabi Ports inaugurated on Saturday the operations of Fujairah port in the east coast of the UAE, according to the company’s statement.
In June, Abu Dhabi Ports signed a 35-year concession agreement with the Port of Fujairah.
This deal will grant Abu Dhabi Ports exclusive rights to develop the port’s infrastructure, superstructure, and manage the shipping of containers, general cargoes, roll-on roll-off, and cruise ships in the port.
Abu Dhabi Ports will establish a new container terminal with deeper berths to let bigger vessels pass to serve partners in the markets of GCC, Indian Ocean and Indian subcontinent.
