Abu Dhabi-Mubasher: Abu Dhabi Ports Company posted on Monday a rise of 31% in roll-on-roll-off (RoRo) traffic at Khalifa Port in the first quarter of fiscal 2016 with 33,680 vehicles, compared to 25,700 vehicles in Q1-15.
General and bulk cargo across Abu Dhabi Ports saw a growth of 13% to 3.98 million freight tonnes (FT) by the end of March 2016, versus 3.5 million FT in the same period of 2015, according to a statement.
The terminal moved 316,996 twenty foot equivalent units/containers (TEUs), up from 302,151 TEUs in the first quarter of 2015.
