Abu Dhabi-Mubasher: Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and deputy supreme commander of the UAE Armed Forces, approved a resolution on the collection of fees from passengers using airport facilities in Abu Dhabi, according to Emirates News Agency (WAM).
Every passenger leaving the UAE from any of Abu Dhabi’s airports, including transit passengers, will be charged AED 35 ($9.52).
Abu Dhabi International Airport welcomed a total of 10.47 million travelers in the first five months of 2016.
A similar step and fee were implemented on Dubai airport services late March.
