Abu Dhabi-Mubasher: Abu Dhabi came among the top five countries worldwide in the index of “Enforcing Contracts”, scoring 201 days, according to 2016 Doing Business report.
On the index of “Dealing with Construction Permits”, Abu Dhabi was ranked among the world's top five countries as the process to get a construction permit in the emirate became 33% faster than it was in 2012. The emirate introduced single window service as well as electronic services for construction permits.
Abu Dhabi climbed 26 notches in the “Starting a Business” index.
Regarding the index of “Getting Electricity”, Abu Dhabi came second amongst the GCC countries, with five procedures needed and with the least cost, which is 19% of the per capita national income.
