UAE – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Digital Authority has partnered with US-based Hewlett Packard Enterprise to support the emirate ambitious plan to launch a data federation platform.
The new partnership represents an extension to an existing MoU between both entities to bring disruptive technologies to Abu Dhabi, according to a statement released on Tuesday.
“We are glad to announce this strategic data partnership with [Hewlett Packard], which demonstrates the authority's continuing thrust towards forging key alliances with some of the world's leading companies in digital technologies,” director-general of the Abu Dhabi Digital Authority Rauda Saeed Al Saadi said.
Abu Dhabi’s projected data platform will help provide enhanced services to Emiratis and residents in the UAE.
“As a company we place special emphasis on the UAE market and we are committed to supporting the country’s technological and economic development,” chief legal and administrative officer at Hewlett Packard Enterprise John Schultz commented.
Under the partnership, Hewlett Packard will bring some of the world's leading data scientists to Abu Dhabi to help in the design, creation, and implementation of the visionary data platform
