Mubasher: Foreign investments in Abu Dhabi increased 8% in 2016, chairman of the Department of Economic Development Ali Majed Al Mansoori said in a speech at the Annual Investment Meeting.
Investments in 2016 reached AED 95.145 billion compared to AED 88.095 billion in 2015, Al Mansoori stated.
About 20.2% of total foreign investments were dedicated to the manufacturing industries at a value of AED 19.18 billion, compared to AED 17.204 billion last year, Al Mansoori added.
Abu Dhabi is participating in the seventh round of the Annual Investment Meeting (AIM) at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
