Abu Dhabi-Mubasher: Revenues from accommodation reservation in Abu Dhabi hotels increased 6.8% in 2015 backed by growth of 6.1% in hotel revenues and 9.8% in hotel apartment revenues , according to a recent report by Statistics Centre − Abu Dhabi (SCAD).
Abu Dhabi’s hotel price index, which measures the relative change of hotel room’s prices, declined 1.5% year-on-year in 2015.
In December 2015, the hotel revenues declined 2.6% due to a drop in revenues of hotels and hotel apartments by 3.2% and 4%, respectively.
On a monthly basis, the hotel price index fell 20.6% in December 2015.
