Abu Dhabi housing prices down 3% in Q3

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Abu Dhabi housing prices declined 3% in the third quarter of the fiscal year 2016 to stand at AED 14,750 per square meter, a report by property consultants JLL showed.

In the third quarter, 1,160 residential units were delivered, thus raising the aggregate number to 247,300 units, the report indicated, expecting more 3,000 units to be added by the end of 2016.

By 2018, the market is likely to see a state of oversupply with the delivery of a number of significant projects, including Al Maryah Central and the Reem Mall.
