UAE - Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development (ADDED) has raised the allowed capacity in restaurants, cafes, and other licensed food outlets, inside and outside malls, to 80%.
This decision is in line with the precautionary measures set by the Abu Dhabi Emergency Crisis and Disaster Committee to curb the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, according to a press release on Wednesday.
By increasing their operational capacity, these outlets will undergo further preventive procedures, including a laser-based DPI screening for employees every two weeks and sanitisation of reusable cutlery.
The outlets should also follow contactless payment methods and prevent vulnerable employees from returning to work.
As for worship places, the government has raised its capacity to 50% while keeping physical distancing.
