Abu Dhabi inflation reaches 2.1% in 10M

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Abu Dhabi’s consumer prices rose (CPI) reached 2.1% in the first 10 months of 2016.

The emirate’s CPI reached 1.7% in September, according to a report by the Statistics Centre Abu Dhabi (SCAD).

The housing, power, water and fuel budget group saw a price increase of 6.1% in the ten-month period, contributing 95.1% to the overall increase in the CPI.

Prices of the education group increased by 3.6% in the January-October period, while prices of the food and beverages group fell 0.2%.
