Abu Dhabi - Mubasher: Abu Dhabi’s inflation rate grew 2.9% year-on-year during the first five months of 2016, according to the Statistics Centre - Abu Dhabi (SCAD).
The consumer price index increased 0.3% during May, compared to April.
The group of “housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels” contributed 84.8% of the total rise achieved in the first five months of the year, according to SCAD.
The emirate’s inflation was up 2.4% in the first four months of 2016.
