Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Abu Dhabi’s inflation increased by 1.6% year-on-year in August 2017, the UAE Federal Customs Authority’s (FCA) report revealed.
The Consumer Price Index (CPI) stood at 1.9% during the first eight months of 2017, from the year-ago period, the report added.
The CPI shed 0.2% during August 2017, compared to July.
The housing, water, electricity and other housing categories recorded the highest price increase in August compared to other groups, contributing 49% to the rise since the beginning of 2017.
