Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Abu Dhabi's non-oil foreign trade has surged 36% year-on-year in April, recording AED 16.71 billion ($4.55 billion).
Industrial supplies topped the items imported by the emirate during the fourth month of 2018, reaching AED 4.63 billion, while imports of transport equipment and parts registered AED 3.54 billion, according to an official statement.
The US ranked first among Abu Dhabi’s non-oil exporters, with total exports of AED 1.61 billion, followed by Saudi Arabia.
Abu Dhabi’s non-oil trade rose 2.5% year-on-year to AED 14.25 billion in March.
